Fiberfrax® 1430°C |
Fiberfrax alumino-silicate refractory ceramic fibers are recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1430°C (2600°F). All Fiberfrax products are characterized by, low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, light weight, and superior corrosion resistance. The excellent thermal stability, and the low-density form of Fiberfrax products, make them ideal for a wide range of high temperature insulation applications. Fiberfrax insulation is widely applied in power generation, industrial chemical processing, petroleum refining, and various other industries including aerospace, appliance, automotive, ferrous & non-ferrous metals, ceramic, glass, and fire protection. Foamfrax® 1430°C Gunnable
Foamfrax & Isofoam
Foamfrax is an advanced foam / fiber high temperature insulation mix for furnace lining applications. This gunnable high temperature insulation can be used as a full thickness lining, or used to upgrade existing furnace linings. It can be applied as a veneer over hard refractory or used for lining patches or refits. Installation of high temperature insulation has never been so fast or easy - by gunning onto suitably prepared furnace wall substrates. Recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1430°C (2600°F). Foamfrax advanced high temperature insulation also exhibits the high temperature properties that have established the other Fiberfrax product forms in so many industrial applications. Unifrax foam / fiber compositions containing AES fibers are also available. Isofoam high temperature insulation is formulated with Isofrax Alkaline Earth Silicate (AES) fibers in order to comply with European in-vitro solubility regulations for glass fiber high temperature insulation products. Recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1260°C (2300°F). Fiberfrax Foamfrax Grade I Bulk Fiber MSDS |
Insulfrax® 1100°C |
Insulfrax calcium-magnesium-silicate fibers are recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1100°C (2012°F). High temperature insulation products produced with this fiber have improved in-vitro solubility characteristics compared to those produced with traditional refractory ceramic fiber, and Insulfrax meets European regulatory requirements for synthetic vitreous high temperature insulation fibers. Insulfrax high temperature insulation is produced in several product forms, including bulk fiber, insulation blanket, insulation modules and insulation paper. Isofrax 1260°C
Isofrax magnesium-silicate-based high temperature insulation fiber is recommended for continuous use at 1260°C (2300°F), for improved thermal stability over Insulfrax. Isofrax in-vitro solubility characteristics also meet European regulatory requirements for synthetic vitreous high temperature insulation fibers. Isofrax high temperature insulation products are available in several product forms including bulk insulation, blanket insulation, insulation modules and insulationpaper.
